Logo and Logotype
The logo is a simple and clean flower symbol. Flowers symbolize growth and love. The logo represents the personal growth one will experience by choosing to live more sustainably, as well as the regeneration the planet will undergo when we show it the love it deserves. The carefully selected typeface is simple and rounded, creating a clean and organic feel.
Color Palette
Rewild's color palette was inspired by earthy tones seen in nature. Each color was carefully selected to complement the natural materials used throughout the project.
Book Design
Rewild's Little Green Book contains numerous sections that teach about sustainable living. These sections discuss topics such as recycling, mindful shopping, composting, growing at home, and making sustainable swaps. A link to the full online version of the book can be found below, following the page layout examples.
Photographed Book & Cover
The book's cover was laser cut onto untreated wood. Its pages were printed on handmade recycled paper. The book was assembled using natural string and a saddle stitch bookbinding method.
Handmade Recycled Seed Paper
For the book's pages, I created my own recycled paper. Some sheets contain wildflower seeds, while others feature pressed flowers.

Book Cover Design
The book's cover was designed digitally and then laser cut onto untreated wood. The book was designed so that when cut, the single piece of wood would be able to bend. This flexible bend is known as a living hinge.

Rewild's Compost Bin
Rewild's compost bin was also digitally designed and laser-cut onto untreated wood. It serves as an inspiring example of how one can get creative with the resources available to them when building a compost bin.

Defense Presentation
This project was conducted during my final semester in college, which coincided with the height of the Covid-19 outbreak. Instead of a traditional gallery exhibition and design defense, I put together a digital presentation showcasing my work.
